Saving the World One Language at a Time
In his song, “This Cowboy’s Hat”, the great Chris LeDoux says, “There’s always been groups of people that never could see eye to eye, and I always thought that if they ever had a chance to sit down and talk face to face they might realize they’ve got a lot in common.”
I stated in a previous blog post that one of my favorite reasons to learn a new language is to meet new people. Wouldn’t it be great if we could all learn new languages, meet new people, and put all the demeaning, racial stereotypes in this world to rest? That is a large goal for any one person or organization to assume, but together there is no limit to the difference that can be made in this world.
The theme across this website is “Saving the World One Language at a Time”. We would like to do our part to help make this world a better place. I have learned a language,, and now aamm able to live in a country were the language is used Knowing another language allows my job possibilities to be wider; I am not limited to just one language group. I also learn about another culture, including food, dancing and music.
