Can Accelerated Learning be applied to
any subject?
 |
Yes. Colin Rose, author of the
best selling book called "Accelerated Learning" has
analyzed the learning process and broken it down into a six-step process described by the
acronym M-A-S-T-E-R. This is embodied in a learn-to-learn program called
Accelerate Your Learning. |

What is the difference between
Accelerated Learning, Accelerative Learning and Super Learning?
|
 |
Are the language programs on CD-ROM?
 |
CD-ROM offers some benefits to
the learner. The results of using CD-ROM exclusively as the learning medium are poor and
generally produce frustration on the part of the user. Accelerated Learning is a learning
method that uses all media. CD-ROM, CD, audio, video and text, where appropriate to
achieve optimum results. The user gets to choose their preferred medium to meet their
specific learning style. |

What is "Total Immersion"?
 |
Total Immersion is a
registered trade mark of Berlitz. It is a 100 year old idea that only the language being
learned should be spoken in the classroom. This idea, although successful for many years
is now regarded as obsolete by many educators and language teachers. Total Immersion, by
definition, precludes the use of many of the new and proven learning techniques to the
detriment of the learner. |
