Saving the World One Language at a Time

by Jake Beus July 28th, 2010 More

In his song, “This Cowboy’s Hat”, the great Chris LeDoux says, “There’s always been groups of people that never could see eye to eye, and I always thought that if they ever had a chance to sit down and talk face to face they might realize they’ve got a lot in common.”

I stated in a previous blog post that one of my favorite reasons to learn a new language is to meet new people. Wouldn’t it be great if we could all learn new languages, meet new people, and put all the demeaning, racial stereotypes in this world to rest? That is a large goal for any one person or organization to assume, but together there is no limit to the difference that can be made in this world.

The theme across this website is “Saving the World One Language at a Time”. We would like to do our part to help make this world a better place. Each month, we now donate 1 software program for every 10 sold to a charity, school, or service organization. This is our way of saying thank you to all of our customers and giving back to the community. We would also like to recognize you for all of your efforts to make this world a better place. We have heard many stories about marriages, friendships, service missions, adventures, and more in part due to your acquisition of a new language, but mostly because of your sincere desire to do good in this world.

Enjoy this short movie we made, and please share a comment about a positive experience you have had in learning a new language below.
