    Clearly, one of the most popular thing to study Spanish is to learn the local slang and regionalism. Ecuador is no exception and there are literally thousands of words that could be classified as slang or modismos. But these words are the experience and wisdom as to when or not to use them.

    I have always been interested in the topic of Spanish slang, and reading this article was helpful, but I have to tell you, that the video makes all the difference. When it comes to Spanish slang, you really need to hear someone say it and use it in context to understand it enough to actually use it. So thumbs up on the video!
