Computer Parts in Spanish

Which is better – Windows or Mac? Learn to Say it in Spanish.

Computer Parts Vocabulary / Windows-Mac Debate:

Or should I say Mac-Windows debate? (Since I’m writing this blog, I’m putting Windows first since I like it better. 🙂 ) This week, we’re going to teach you how to say computer parts in Spanish, we also want to hear on Facebook Fiesta Friday, whether or not you like Mac or Windows better. Come share your opinions and even though there may be a little “calor” in the discussion, remember, we’re all part of one big happy Facebook Fiesta Friday community (thanks to Visual Link Spanish).

Be sure and come to Facebook Fiesta Friday ready with your opinion. I’m hoping for a record turnout! Two lucky winners of this week’s debate will receive our new online Level I Spanish course (it’s now revised and better than ever!) for 5 months!

Here is the vocabulary from the video to get you primed for the Windows-Mac Facebook Fiesta Friday debate.

Windows is better. Windows es mejor.
Mac is better. Mac es mejor.
Windows is horrible. Windows es horrible.
Mac is horrible. Mac es horrible.
I don’t like Windows. No me gusta Windows.
I don’t like Mac. No me gusta Mac.
Those who use Windows are smarter. Los que usan Windows son más inteligentes.
Those who use Mac are smarter. Los que usan Mac son más inteligentes.
Windows always crashes/fails. Windows siempre falla.
stupid (don’t use this word – offensive) estúpido
the keyboard el teclado
the mouse el mouse / el ratĂłn
the monitor el monitor
the screen la pantalla
the printer la impresora
the computer la computadora
the internet el internet
the speakers los parlantes
las bocinas (Mexico)

Please come and practice with me, Dave, Jake and 7,600 more people on our Visual Link Spanish Facebook page.

This week, there are a few pages we are highlighting right here on our Learn a Language website:

Future Facebook Fiesta Friday Topics:

April 1, 2011 – April Fool’s Day! Come share your funny photos and describe them in Spanish!

April 8, 2011 – Music week

April 15, 2011 – To be determined.
